Re: Pulled From a Trunk, Executed and Ran Over
I think I will do that tonight. That will make a crazy screen saver. I imagine a marriage counsellor sitting across from a couple, one hand on each of their knees, when his computer goes to sleep behind him and it starts looping just over his shoulder. |

Re: Pulled From a Trunk, Executed and Ran Over
the security camera is using an IR emitter and IR camera. Colors dark or light often look the same based on how much IR absorption/reflection they have. I use these every day at work. The “flashlight” is her camera’s light from her videoing it. The security camera footage is running about 2/10 fast. If you look at the timer, it logs 10 seconds in 8 seconds actual time. That’s why they don’t match up time wise |

Re: Pulled From a Trunk, Executed and Ran Over
Cool thank you. Kellyhound'll probably join the threads once he returns. I'm colorblind, so I was looking for that definite 2 tone of his shirt. Yellow I can see, I thought I'd be able to separate it for sure. That, and her light beam actually hitting the trunk--it's so visible in the one video. Can you see either. I was trying to sync the trunks opening, but no way was that lining up with the gunshots. After I realized it was the same thing, started thinking maybe it was that type of camera called FLIR. That's different though I guess. I always wanted to get an Infrared laser spotter for my telescope so I wouldn't give away my spot when I used to sneak into this golf course at night to look at space. I don't know enough about them to know if I'd be able to see the beam if I can't see reds and they're too expensive, I think, to buy just to try. |

Re: Pulled From a Trunk, Executed and Ran Over
I just opened them up in premiere pro. I have already slowed the security camera. FLIR stands for Forward Looking Infra-Red. basically the same thing. The threads have already been joined. Not sure who it was. Once I get the time sequencing done, I will merge the two side by side, and upload it here. Then the mods can do with it what they will. I am a sky watcher as well. What I did, as not to ruin my night vision (and not be very visible for others), was just take a red "gel" (red transparency), and trace out the circle of my flashlight lens (I would use 2aa mag-lights.) I would make 2-3 of these, and just slide them in-between the reflector and the lens, then screw on the cap. The more gels I used, the less visible light there was. As my night vision became better through the night, I would just add more and more gels. |

Re: Pulled From a Trunk, Executed and Ran Over
![]() The first one, and the second I'll put below this. These are the small versions 400 across, but there are big versions too 800 across, they'd slow this page right down if I posted them here, so I'll post the big'uns down in my Tom Hank's thread in the "Computer Help" section--nobody will care if it makes Tom Hank's a little slow. |
