While the search to find the alleged person responsible for murdering two brothers last night in a Condado restaurant continues, the Police have already shed light on the character of the suspect to the point of describing him as someone who likes to "abuse" others.

The authorities managed to speak with the man, named Santiago Apolinar Rondón , 30 years old, and with his mother to notify him that he was being sought as a suspect in the crime that occurred at Ropa Vieja Grill.

Meanwhile, the victims are called J.E.C.R., 28 years old, and J.P.O.R., 31 years old. None had criminal records.

As explained by Colonel Roberto Rivera Miranda, director of the Assistant Superintendency in Criminal Investigations (SAIC), in an interview with WKAQ 580, the incident was reported last night at 8:50 p.m. when Rondón Santiago arrived at the kitchen of the store and began shooting at the victims.

C.R. and O.R. had barely been working as dishwashers for four months, said the senior official.

"They had some situation. The information that is available is that, apparently, this individual is one of those people who likes to abuse others a lot. It seems that he is a white collar. His record is by the 2021 Weapons Law. He also has a case of the 2021 for domestic violence," Rivera Miranda said in a telephone interview.

Two Dominicans gunned down by another Dominican. What can you do?

The most disturbing thing is that it happened at the restarant Ropa Vieja in Condado. Super high end restaurant in what is supposed to be the safest mixed residential/tourism neighborhood in Puerto Rico. I lived in Condado for a decade. You could walk around and enjoy the hotels, bars, beaches, and nightlife 24/7. Sad to see it go downhill so hard.

Ropa vieja grill. I know that place. I also lived in Condado for some time. I almost purchased a place some years ago in the early 90s. Personally, do not like Cuban food but the place was full of people outside hanging out and waiting to be served. Dominicans have no respect for life. Sadly, their life was ended by one of their compatriotas.
