I wonder if anyone ever resists being executed? Obviously they wouldn't show it if they do, but it always seems weird that they all walk so willingly to their death. Are they simply using their last few minutes to try and pray for their afterlife? Are they just overcome with fear? Or have they been tortured and broken to thw point that the release of death would be an improvement over their life? |
