Politically-oriented commentary is fine in the Watercooler or when topical to specific threads in the other sections. Complaining about Joe Biden's immigration and 'gun control' policies in threads that have nothing whatsoever to do with immigration or gun ownership in America is de-railing the topic and trolling for an argument in the process. People are amply welcome to embrace whatever political opinions they wish so long as they do so in the appropriate section of the forum or when it is directly and meaningfully topical to the thread at hand. That was absolutely not the case in the post that was complained about here. So the user received an infraction for trolling.  |
