You're kidding, right? I'm sure she didn't have a lot of choice. Women don't have much control over their own bodies in places like this. They're married off young, too poor to be able to get birth control, live basically under the rule of their male relatives and husbands, and can't even get a divorce without their husbands' consent.

Good point. But their law may include wives can't say no to their husbands for sex, concluding that babies are going to be born in whatever their country is experiencing.
