Re: POWER OF THE M16 !!!
Yes, that is exactly what happened, it is easy to confirm there was no shot fired and he dived in a failed attempt to cheat death. The clues are: 1.- No recoil on his rifle. 2.- His skull is intact which would be impossible being shot in the back of the head with a high speed bullet. 3.- There are no ripples on the front of his clothing by the force of the hydrostatic shock in the head. 4.- He tries to protect himself with his leg, you can't make voluntary moves after being shot in the brain. |

Re: POWER OF THE M16 !!!
Sorry for the thread necro, but the M16/M4/AR-15 in 5.56 is really not all that great and the U.S. military has been trying to get rid of it for years. It's accurate, but at long range cannot match the kinetic energy that the AK platform in 7.62x39 delivers. At one time they were going to replace the entire rifle, then talked about converting all of them to the 6.8 SPC (which I've done with 2 of my AR's, incredible round). Just about any rifle will do this type of damage at that close of a range. If I really wanted to see some damage I'd use my hunting rifles in 7mm Rem Mag, .300 Win Mag, or even .30-06. If we're talking military rifles, I'd choose my FAL in 7.62x51 for some really good splatter. Anyway...necro out. |
