A popular singer from Mexico, who once boasted about his lyrics that he was not afraid of dying, was shot by assassins in northern Mexico.

L.M. (23) traveled with his business manager and brother, R.M. in a white Chevy pickup when they were ambushed by two vehicles in Ciudad de Obregón, Sonora at 4 p.m. local time.

'L' was a singer of controversial folk music, narcocorridos or drug ballads. He sang about drug lords, arrests, shootings, risky operations and betrayal and was considered a thorn in the country's drug cartels.

The hit squad released a hail of at least 300 bullets on the windshield and on both sides of the vehicle. Ironically he had just left a funeral before the crime.

Both men were declared dead on the spot.

I've noticed in a few shooting videos in the past few days, these clusters of holes in the doors where they look pushed out from inside the vehicle.
I wonder what that's about?
If it's people shooting from inside the car from a low point to avoid firing near other occupants ears and eyes?
I read in this assassination manual I found that shooting inside of vehicles is not recommended for several reasons.

They're just exit holes. The bullets went in the drivers side and came out the other. If you looked at the inside of the drivers door you'd see pretty much the same thing as what you described.
