Police Shooting, Seattle.
Seattle, Washington — Police officers responded to several 911 calls reporting that a man was brandishing knives at the intersection of West Harrison Street and Elliott Avenue West. Callers further stated that the subject was chasing and threatening people. After a Taser deployment, two officers fired their service weapons, striking the man. Officers provided first aid to the subject until Seattle Fire Department Medics arrived. Medics pronounced the man deceased at the scene.

It looks like the dude was already falling down from the taser. God these cops are so trigger happy it's sick. Why don't they all just taser while one cop aims his gun just in case? So ignorant.

Don’t think the taser did much, since he got hit like 3 seconds before he did the floor challenge looks like the guy turned for the cop with the dog.  |

The guy was armed with a large knife, was unfazed by the taser(s), and turned to come at the cop behind him. The officers did exactly what they needed to.

When you tell a police officer, “You’re gonna have to kill me!” when he tells you to stop and get on the ground, and then you turn back toward the officer with a large knife in your hand.......prepare to die!

I wasn't aware there ever was a policy of "shoot to wound". It makes no difference if you or I have a problem with cops killing civilians, they acted as per their training so he's dead due to his own stupidity.  |
