i’m italian and here cops probably wouldnt shot you even if you have a bazooka in your hands, but if i were american and i was stopped by a policeman i wouldn't even be able to put my hands in my pockets for fear of becoming a sieve

Where I live, kids going through a program called Safety Town when they are in the first grade. The program includes classes on fire safety, stranger danger, poison prevention, and an outside mini town with instructions on pedestrian/traffic/bike rules. Maybe that curriculum should be modified to include safe surrender, following police officer commands, what to do with your firearm when interacting with law enforcement. Not being totally sarcastic here, this fellow certainly could have benefited from formal training.
