A police Sergeant (45) was executed while walking his dog in front of the restaurant of his wife in Santos, São Paulo.

Men in a black car shot the PM sergeant, then returned to the other side of the street and one of the passengers, with helmet, got out and fired a volley of rifle at the head of PM.

The security guard (53) of his wife's restaurant tried to help the sergeant, but was shot in the leg and also died en route to hospital.

According to the police officers who went to the scene and talked with relatives the Sergeant had suffered death threats.

According to the Department of Public Safety, 76 policemen have been killed in Sao Paulo in 2012.

A key 43% larger than 2011. Victims are almost always attacked during the break, caught off guard and shot with high-caliber weapons.

The perpetrators were members of the PCC, the leading criminal organization in Sao Paulo.
