Re: Police Release Bodycam Footage - Heritage Hotel, Orange County

Plot twist: that was the original murderer's gun and the brother just found it on the ground. But seriously, if you are that afraid of firearms or objects that resemble firearms (vapes, etc) then pick a different career path.

It's confirmed. When cops see a gun, they lose it.

The victim isn't black so ofc nobody will even talk about this. But if the victim was black, roads would already be blocked by protesters... White life matters too!
Go protest then. No one is stopping you.

Re: Police Release Bodycam Footage - Heritage Hotel, Orange County

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office has released video of an officer-involved shooting that claimed the life of a 28-year-old Orlando man just moments after his brother was fatally shot by a separate individual.

After responding to reports of a shooting on August 6, the video shows the moment that police discovered 28-year-old B. R. in possession of a gun at the scene.

The video shows officers as they approach the body of 21-year-old D. J, who was shot and killed at the Heritage Hotel located at 7900 S. Orange Blossom Trail.

As the officers tend to J, witnesses alert them to the fact that R, who is standing close by, is carrying a gun.

The deputies turn their attention to R. and direct him to drop his gun, which he is seen holding in his left hand.

After a brief struggle, R. turns his back and is fired at multiple times by a deputy.

Both were pronounced deceased at a local hospital.

According to police, the brothers were originally involved in an altercation with a third man that shot J. That man, who has not been identified by police, has been cooperating with authorities.

According to the sheriff’s office, the deputy who shot R. has been employed with OCSO since 2018. His name has not been released, per Marsy’s Law.

The cop shot him AFTER his partner took the gun from him! You can clearly see both hands just before he was shot to death.

His partner was standing right there. He could have easily shot her too. “Friendly” fire happens all the time but instead of the officer taking responsibility they usually charge whoever they’re responding to. I seriously wish there was a way to call 911 and get emergency response only. I never, ever want to deal with the police

Re: Police Release Bodycam Footage - Heritage Hotel, Orange County

As an anonymous bystander you don't just casually have a gun at your side, in your hand at the scene of a shooting in the presence of cops and other armed folks who are in fear of an active shooter - unless you are a retard who probably shouldn't carry a gun. This is why. It is one of those things where you don't get a Mulligan or an extra life like GTA..

The "paramedic" and "nurse" at the crack hotel are the last two people I would want attending to me.
