No one has a monopoly on violence.

We know we have a violence problem in the US, but it pales compared to Brazil, which averages about 50,000 murders per year, that makes Chicago look like a day in Disneyland. So there's nothing 'overrated' and there's certainly no assumptions being made. Brazil is a pit of filth and death.

According to the fire department, there was exchange of fire with partygoers. One man died and two others were also injured in the fight. A video shows the moment one picks up the pistol from the holster and shoots down the MP.

In the video, the cops show up trying to arrest a man wearing a blue striped shirt. A woman tries to stop the action, shouting that he had done nothing to justify being arrested.

According to the military police the sergeant died on the spot. People who were there ran to hide behind cars that were at the party. Several cars were also riddled with bullet holes in the bodywork and glass.

Another policeman that was hit by a bullet was rescued by the fire department and taken to the Emergency Hospital. He undergoes surgery in the unit and his health status has not yet been informed.

In the USA, the 2 fighting suspects would most likely be charged with murder and attempted murder as well.

Brazil: some of the absolute dumbest cops in the world. I just can't imagine some stupid cunt being allowed to pummel and have aggressive contact with a cop like that in any other place in the world. Someone would lay her ass out quickly. The only consolation is that the shooter is almost certainly dead. Brazil not only has some of the dumbest, most ill-trained cops, but also some of the most corrupt. Even if the shooter was taken into custody alive, you can be sure that the cop's buddies payed him a special visit, and in this case, I approve.
