I would assume the cop has been trained exactly how to react to situations like this, and he was basically following standing procedures.

How would it go down if the drunk suddenly dove at the cop, knives flailing etc? Would you take that risk?

Monday morning quarterbacking is always easy but at the same time maybe one or two to center mass would have stopped the threat. No one is to blame for that mans death but himself. He wanted to die and he got what he wanted.

it has been found that the 2nd 3rd shot are generally more accurate that the first... also Most people whom are in a situation where having to use deadly force with a firearm are most times shocked to learn they fired more than one round.. in such circumstances it seems people dont relyze there pulling more than once....
