Police Officer Driving Uber Reacts to Robbery and Shoot Robber Dead
São Luís, Maranhão Two women and two men were in an Uber when the two men announced a robbery. Unbeknownst to them, however, the Uber driver also worked as a Military Police officer, and a physical fight ensued. After stopping the vehicle, the officer and the two criminals continued the fight outside, during which the officer shot one of the men. The other criminal managed to take the gun off the officer, but the gun failed to work, allowing the officer to flee the scene. The other criminal also ran away, leaving behind his partner in crime, who ultimately did not survive his injuries. |
