Police Investigate Man Killed by Heavy Equipment at Marunda Road, North Jakarta
The Cilincing Police, North Jakarta Metro Police, are still investigating a workplace accident that resulted in the death of a man after being run over by a side loader at the Smart Depot, Jalan Medan Block C 03, Marunda Bonded Zone (KBN), Cilincing District, North Jakarta, on Thursday afternoon (February 26th) at around 3:21 PM WIB. The victim was identified as GH (44). Police stated that the victim was not an employee of the Smart Depot, but was suspected of working in the shipping sector and was at the container loading and unloading operations.

It was very unfortunate that the driver didn't see him because the truck carrying the container had just passed by moments earlier. Somehow, the side loader's support arms must have obstructed his view even further.
