Re: Police Call It Murder Suicide, teenage girl shoots teenage cousin and herself
It is heart breaking to see this. But unfortunately it is REALITY. I have suicides peppered all through my family and this girl does not fit the profile. I am 100% sure that the first shot was be accident. But that second shot, I am just not sure if it was intentional or accident. When she fell back into the tub she had dropped the gun. Just glad it didn't happen on my watch, poor little girls. When I was 7 or 8 years old, my dad had placed his .12 shot gun on the table as he was going to go hunting for anything that had wings that he could kill. My older sister and I were watching, and when he went to the bathroom my sister picked it up and we were seeing just how heavy it was. My dad came out of the bathroom and he was pissed!! He grabbed the shotgun and started yelling at us about gun safety and he loaded a shell into the gun and grabbed us and took us outside. (we lived on a farm) he called our dog over and my dad shot him in the head right in front of us. I didn't touch another gun until I was 13 and started learning everything about guns. I thought that was a terrible way to learn gun safety until I grew up and went into law enforcement. This was a brutal way to learn, and the worse thing about this is blaming yourself for not keeping your gun out of the hands of others. This is a tragedy all over the place. Who ever owned this weapon should have their genitalia shot twice, once for each of those little girls.

I actually respect her for offing herself. That shows that she understood how bad she fucked up and had the courage to not live with the shame. Most adults in that situation would beg for forgiveness and try to find a way to weasel out of it.

She said “it’s not lo “BOOM” I’m assuming she was going to say “it’s not loaded” actually I’m sure she was saying that as she pulled the trigger. the way she said it as if he had just told her it was and she was arguing the fact that it can’t be while pulling the trigger. ..’it looks like he was not lying’ |

Re: Police Call It Murder Suicide, teenage girl shoots teenage cousin and herself
This wasn’t a murder suicide, it was a stupidity suicide. I saw by her level of surprise that she definitely didn’t intend for the gun to go off the first time. The second shot, however, was her way out of the situation. I’m just surprised how quickly it went from accident to “solution.”
