That’s an insanely simplistic and probably wrong interpretation of the statistics. Most people who are murdered are murdered by someone they know and associate with, most of them being part of the criminal underclass, and people tend to know and associate with those who are the same race as them. Now if you’re into such sketchy stuff that you’re as likely as an ‘average’ American to get shot then maybe your statement is true, but for most white people it’s not, and the poster before you was referring to random violence and not the ‘known associate’ violence that fills out the bulk of these statistics.
