JFC, Yes, same.   When my dog died, I couldn’t pick him up so I could bring him to the hospital (cremation). I tried for like hours and hours but I couldn’t do it. And then when I was finally able to get myself to place my hand on him, he was hard. It was even more terrible and more shocking, than in the earlier hours while he was still limp. I had to go get my neighbor to pick him up, put him in the carry crate. |
