Plantation Worker's Wife Found Buried Behind Her House
Three days after her disappearance, a plantation worker's wife was found buried behind her house in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia. The victim, identified as Agata B, was found in a horrific condition, buried behind her own house on Monday. This incident came to light due to the suspicions of the family who hadn't seen the victim since Saturday, April 18. According to the Police, the suspicions began when a family member asked her husband about the victim's whereabouts. N. gave a strange answer, saying that his wife had gone to work in Batam without permission. Suspicions intensified when the family member suggested searching for the victim during the day. Instead of assisting in the search, N. left the house on a motorcycle and never returned. Feeling something was wrong, he and local residents initiated a search behind the couple's house on Monday evening around 7 PM. During the search, residents found a freshly dug mound of earth. After conducting a self-initiated excavation, they found wooden boards and a strong, putrid odor. The findings were immediately reported to the company and forwarded to the Police Station. Police officers who arrived at the scene immediately continued the excavation and successfully evacuated Agata's lifeless body. The victim and her husband were known to be employees of the oil palm plantation company and had only been working there for about 6 months. The police strongly suspect that Agata was a victim of murder. |

Re: Plantation Worker's Wife Found Buried Behind Her House
The mysteries of life are so insane. How a normal body so full of life becomes a putrid rag doll. And we know the science of it all, but it’s still insane. Most of us struggle through life to survive…with the certainty that we will bite it at any given moment. You can’t think too much about it really, because the conclusion would be: “what’s the point?” I don’t believe in any deity or supernatural thing, but it makes sense why people want to. The fear of this unknown is so easily exploited. I wonder if those of us who are - in some way - desensitized to this kind of gore and death - have the tools to handle it better. Maybe some of us are still looking for meaning in our fascination with morbid content. I’m not even high right now. 3 am musings while I read my bedtime DR. |
