Plainclothed Cop Shoot and Kills Armed Restaurant Robber
Brazil, The attempted robbery was on the night of last Monday (20). Giovane, 46, sat at the table, which is on the sidewalk of the establishment, before attempting the assault. A companion of him who was also outside gave the signal by shouting "It is now!". Giovane went in and announced the robbery. The bar/restaurant owner's wife watched all the action closely and told she noticed when the man pulled a gun from his waist and pointed it to her husband's head. The woman says that she got scared to watch the unfolding scene and ran outside and asked for help. A PM, who was without a uniform near-by, heard the distress call and entered the bar to see what was happening. As soon as he entered the bar, the MP reacted to the thug's action with two shots to his chest. He died. When the companion, who waited outside, realized that this couldn't end well, ran away. The MP tried to find him, but did not succeed, yet. |
