Plain-clothes Military Police Officer Shoot and Kills Robber at Gas Station
Brazil, A plain-clothes military police officer reacted to an attempted robbery at a gas station and shot and killed a criminal late on Saturday (14). According to the Civil Police, around 8:00 pm, the soldier of the 48th Military Police Battalion was in the car at a gas station when he realized that a m an came running towards his car with a helmet on his head and armed with a knife trying to rob them. The MP officer, still inside the vehicle reacted and fired four times against the young man who fell down. The Fire Department, came to rescue the criminal to the Municipal Hospital where he passed away. The body of the 29 year old robber was referred to the Instituto Médico Legal (IML). The occurrence was registered at the Judicial Police Station. The gun used by the MP was a pistol .40 caliber and belongs to the MP officer and was seized for the investigation. The MP soldier who acted in self-defense, testified to a delegate. Witnesses to the attempted assault were also asked to testify. |

Looked like he was almost tiptoeing to his "victim's" car. Girly-men really shouldn't be pursuing a life of violent crime. At any rate, another dead baddie bites the dust... with a bullet in his gut instead of his teeth  |
