Plain Clothed MP Sergeant Executed at a Fair
Brazil, A Military Police Sergeant was shot and killed early Saturday afternoon (15) at a fair. According to the Civil Police, two men arrived on a motorcycle and one, wearing a white shirt, fired at least three shots at the police officer and then together they fled the scene.  Initially the police pointed out the known suspects "Come Barro" and "Orelha" as responsible for the murder. The sergeant joined the Military Police 23 years ago. The sergeant was in plain clothes at the time of the crime. The same police officer was the victim of an attack with the same characteristics in October last year, at another fair. At that time, the sergeant was shot in the back and chest by two men in a car. He was rescued and referred to the Emergency Hospital. |
