Honestly ? I think it was the other way around. When I was a kid, I was walking by a man that was selling them. I stopped to look at the pups, you know how kids are about animals.

One walked over to me like it knew me it's whole life of about 6 months, licked me and set down on my foot. I fell in love then and there. The man GAVE me the pup because he could see how much I liked it, and had no money.

I have been trying ever since to get people to realize this breed has a place in society, granted they are not for everyone, they still have a place like every other breed of dog. I do not fight them, I do not train them for violence, and if my dogs do something, they get discapline, not punishment. You know as well as me, there is a difference.

Before i even clicked the link i knew there would be a bunch of retarded comments that the guy must have deserved it . do a little research they aren't a hunting breed they were created purely for the purpose of fighting more than a century of breeding these animals to be as aggressive as possible results in videos like this

So yeah, your statement fails. BTW we (my family) used to breed German shepherds. I don't know if you ever saw one, but a lot of experts say it's one of more aggressive breeds.
However out of several dozen that we sold we never received any complaints.
However i did see 2 males fighting and no that dog doesn't "locks" his jaw when it bites. It tears off a chunk of flesh, so what is worse a dog that sinks it's teeth and holds or a dog that sinks it's teeth and does it's best to rip that part of your flesh off?

It is pretty clear your knowledge is based on ignorant statements you read on the web. Your utter lack of experience (i love dogs doesn't counts as experience BTW) only makes you look like a dumb 15 year old kid that talks out of his ass.

Got news for you man, they were bred for several different reasons. Hunting was one reason, protection was another, it was later they were being trained to fight.

People could not always defend themselves against animals and other people, so they started working on a breed of dog that was fearless, loyal to the death, and not generally people agressive.

That is what they got with this breed of dog. I have done research on them, I have 9 of them, I have raised them going on 15 years. It is people like you that make halfassed comments without knowing the whole story that turn people into mindless, fearful pussies when it comes to this breed.

If you don't like them, that is fine, but don't spread your ignorance of the breed unjustly.

One thing doesn't sits in some people's brain. They were BRED to fight. They weren't born to fight. Someone found a strong, sturdy build dog that would be suitable for hunting.
He trained it to help him. It doesn't means that dogs offspring will be a good hunter.
It means the dog was taught to assist during hunt.
A fucking Chihuahua can be a fighting dog if you teach it.
