Re: Pitbull Attack Turns Floor into a Pool of Blood
Anything short of a break stick or a bullet to the dome and that dog's not letting go...i've broken up enough pits to realize this. People also think hosin' them off will make them quit....that just cools em off while they're fighting. They were originally bred to be strictly animal aggressive...the ones used for dog fights were often the most human friendly because they'd have to attack the other dog and not the ref in the box with them...any one that attacked a human was shot on sight and certainly not bred.

Re: Pitbull Attack Turns Floor into a Pool of Blood
I have heard (not sure if it's true) that specific breeds as they get older turn extremely aggressive due to some small bones on the inside of their skulls that grow in the brain and slowly destroy it.

Re: Pitbull Attack Turns Floor into a Pool of Blood
Some people really check out the breed, and realize what they have on their hands. Some people don't give these dogs any structer, and when they miss the signs and someone gets bitten, then they blame the dog. There are some things you just don't do, and this thread is a perfect example of that. |
