Re: Phone Shop Guard Gutshots Wannabe Robber
From our perspective of the camera, it might not have been clear that it was a gun. But from the vantage point of the guard, he probably saw quite clearly that the guy was acting a bit skittish and clearly saw him pulling out a gun.

Yea; its like we saw the whole story. While most videos here its like walking into a movie half way through and guessing who is the bad guy and their motivations |

Re: Phone Shop Guard Gutshots Wannabe Robber
We don't see many shotguns in south america on here. They tend to be shitty local made Taurus(factory seconds...maybe they exist down there or get sold out the backdoor), because they jam like California traffic. Meanwhile mexico only has assault rifles(handguns are difficult to come by there).

Oh my goodness. Stfu. That was the entire purpose of my post. The guy wasted his life in an attempt to score a cell phone. |

Re: Phone Shop Guard Gutshots Wannabe Robber
What I particularly noticed here was not JUST the shot placement ( i.e. dead center of mass), nor JUST the much more skillful reaction time (complete muscle memory/hours of training, etc.), but rather the profound calmness and focus of the shooter whilst carrying out (in seconds no less) lethal force, in a textbook/controlled action...even only firing ONE round, and not emptying the entire clip, stopping the moment the target was down and subdued!

Re: Phone Shop Guard Gutshots Wannabe Robber
The fact he only fired one round didn't even cross my mind until you just said that. It's almost like he knew where he was going to hit him, before he even drew his weapon. That's some pretty good trigger discipline. While many would argue to double/triple tap(vets and weekend warriors) or just exhaust the clip(most cops on patrol); he seemed incredibly confident in his shot placement. Good on him. |
