So sad... I knew a girl who hung herself and it's so sad that someone feels that death is an answer to something.

Re: Philippino Woman Hangs Herself from a ceiling fan

I think she passed out after the first couple of seconds. The rest is just muscle spasms.
I dunno, she seems to make an effort for that ladder!

Very sad.

Saudi Arabia has a not so good reputation when it comes to how foreign domestic helpers are treated, especially from the Philippines.

Re: Philippino Woman Hangs Herself from a ceiling fan

I believe grabbing the rope was an attempt to alleviate some pain by taking some pressure off the neck. When that didn’t work she tried to get back on the ladder. People will go in and out of consciousness when strangling as adrenaline is released. Fine motor function is soon lost so it is hard to tell what they are trying to do. My impression was she was trying to regain her footing. The intention could have been to minimize the pain or to save herself. Who knows.

Damn...almost looked at one point she re-thought her decision and tried to move the ladder back with a foot.
Hanging, burning, and drowning are the worst ways to go. Takes way too long.

Re: Philippino Woman Hangs Herself from a ceiling fan

She really took ages to die

Some hangers like this one seems to suffer lot and to have a long death but some others like the call girl in the pictures section seems to have died almost immediately as they could easy change their minds but didn't. So a partial suspension like did the call girl seems to works better than a full suspension like this one.

not quite. at around 4:50 watch her trying to climb back on the ladder.
Interesting. I thought she kicked it away so she was committed.

Re: Philippino Woman Hangs Herself from a ceiling fan

She wasnt out. Those inward clenched fists in the first minute or looks involuntary but they werent. She was trying to keep her hands down and from reaching for the rope which is what anyone would instinctively do when being strangled. She was in a lot of pain throughout but she was trying to go through with it by sheer willpower alone.

How does one become unconscious and know exactly where the ladder was and try to reach for it with their leg? Remember, she was slowly spinning around as she was hanging.. dont you have to see where the ladder is?

She was out. Look up Decerebrate posturing. That's severe brain damage that involves a lack of blood / oxygen to the brain.
