The Philippines: Radio Broadcaster Shot Dead While Streaming Live
A radio anchorman in Calamba, Misamis Occidental was shot dead by an unidentified suspect while having a live broadcast. According to radio reports, J.J. aka “DJ Johnny Walker” was shot by an unidentified suspect while inside the announcer’s booth at 94.7 Gold Mega Calamba FM at around 5:00 am local time today, November 5. The DJ was live-streaming on Facebook when the gunman entered and shot him at close range before grabbing his necklace. Police have already secured CCTV footage in the area. |
