Peruvian Man with Criminal Record Is Shot Dead Outside Store
Piura, Peru A 38-year-old man, Edson L.P.O., nicknamed 'Buggi', was killed instantly after being shot around eleven bullets to the head and torso. Witnesses described a gunman wearing a safety helmet who approached the victim, fired an initial shot to the head, causing him to fall, and then continued shooting as he lay on the ground. He then fled, and no arrests have been reported. Police sources indicated that Edson had a prior criminal record, including reports for sexual violation, aggravated robbery and illegal possession of firearms. |
