Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic A retired National Police general, Francisco P.M., collapsed and died while playing basketball. Francisco had remained a prominent member of the National Police's internal basketball squad after retirement, to help maintain his fitness. So far, authorities have not offered any further details about the exact circumstances of the death. |

This is the third one that died during indoor basketball in the country. They're battling a heatwave there with temps up to 95°F outside and 103.8°F in some areas inside and yet older and slightly out of shape men have to play a match ffs
