But that's also fucked up. That we have to be careful when having an argument or confrontation with a neighbor. Bringing out a gun is so cowardly. And using it is pathetically cowardly.

That's what's wrong with society. It's full of weak ass cowards. A bunch of adult children, raised by television, internet,! and video games. Parents didn't give proper discipline. Participation awards, everybody wins, feelings are more important than rewarding the more focused, the more athletic, the more driven. Everybody is special, and taught that their little tantrums are acceptable.

And instead of handling confrontation or disagreements respectfully and on your own. They are looking for help. Whether it's grabbing their phones and taking videos and posting it with out of context information to get their "friends" to pat them on the back. And verbally attack the other person.

Or, grab a gun because their minds cannot handle something not going their way. This killer was probably that kid who had his mom wrapped around his finger. And was verbally abusive to his mom. And never got his ass beat for it.

with the handgun (probably .40cal based on mag capacity of what looks like a full size handgun) he fired 12 rounds and the slide locked back, he really did unload on them. It took 6 rounds before he actually landed the first shot. They just stood there, they didn't think it was real.

When the man got shot first he knew right away he was in trouble. Apparently getting shot burns like being stabbed with a red hot poker. That woke him up. I live in an ever worsening part of town, If anyone ever pointed a gun at me i wouldn't wait to find out if they're for real or not. People here do not care. there was a shooting less than a mile from my house last night. You should have it drilled into your head to just run immediately. But shock and disbelief combined with extreme stress make it impossible to use quick decision making.
Sometimes its surprising how long people live after being shot several times. Even people shot in the head don't die immediately, some live for hours afterwards.

I can't imagine the terror of laying there not being able to move and knowing "wow. this is really happening. this is it."

always take the high road when you can. you never know what someone may do. it just isn't worth it.
