Something tells me that what happened here was the culmination of months, perhaps years of harassment and fueding between these neighbors.

I doubt the police did much (if they even had the authority to) from all the prior confrontations, barring any physical altercation between them. The end result is this guy "corrected" people he did not get along with on his own terms, not seeing any alternative to end the constant harassment.

Just a hunch, I could be completely wrong here and this could be just one incident between the 3 of them that rapidly escalated to shooting deaths. But, I have read about many cases like this as I am sure many of us have in here and I am sure most would agree that when something like this happens, it is usually the final act in an escalating feud over a long time span.

It seems my hunch may have been correct. According to this source, there was in fact a history of quarreling between these neighbors...

Frank you should see the fucking REDNECKS around here! Guns are their entire life. If they get a little extra money the first thing they do is buy a gun, letting their families go without essentials. Some actually have 3 digits worth of firearms and they live in a $3000 trailer. I have no doubt that these toothless motherfuckers would "shoot it out" with any entity that tried to take their guns.
That is why they are so nervous in D.C. now because they know that there are millions (yes millions) of these types that are looking to "kick some ass" now that their boy lost the election and there's a new captain at the helm.

No dude, unfortunately, murder, torture, that’s something unimaginable. Not relatable because I will never be able to “relate” to anyone else 100% without my background, which is white and privileged. I am over 180k in debt due to seeking out social work and teaching jobs with a master’s and can’t pay my $900 a month debt, so in my 33+ years, live with my mom because student loans take up over half my income, even with 5+ years teaching. I will tell you though, every act of violence, no matter what country it’s from, I don’t gawk at, or see it as entrainment. Honestly, it’s something to keep me honest and actually here, because there have been a lot of fantasies related to suicide and inpatient situations. Therefore, I use my internet privilege, not white, to survive because, as you know, white trash are killing themselves and others for you to gawk at as well. I do not understand your viewpoint completely because I never can, I didn’t grow up or experience all the hardship you endured and continue to, but I will never be judgmental or automatically categorize any type of violence I see here. I obviously do have my inherent bias, as do you, basic Psych 101, thanks for the criticism but hopefully I didn’t hurt anyone.
