Technically, the proper way to do it, is, neutralize the threat first, then render aide.

But I carry a firearm everyday/everywhere and have/give appropriate training...

I just figured out what she's doing while injured from the first shot...

She's using Siri to make a phone call!

At 1:30 she takes off her right hand glove in order to use her phone
At 1:57 she says "Siri, call Ryan Malanski"

Maybe Ryan Malanksi is a cop and she thought he would come to her aid in a millisecond. But why not call 911. All you have to do is make the phone call and the cops would have come to that location eventually.

Also why didn't she ask those guys to help? Why not beg for your life from the shooter? Even after she's shot, rather than say "Please don't kill me! I'm sorry! I have a family", instead she says "You fucker!" Her behavior is just so bizarre to me.

You do realize this entire video takes about three minutes. Had those young guys attempted to "remove" her, there's a very good chance they would have been victims, too. They were reacting to something few of us can imagine. It's not fair to insinuate they should have done more.

It is bizarre how she remained so defiant and hateful even after being shot. It sort of adds to the story that she and her husband were true bullies in that neighborhood. Seems like they got through in life by calling people f*ckers.

Wrong. It's totally unbelievable that you tell someone to "go ahead, go ahead" just after your husband tells someone to put the gun down. These two really believed their foul slurs would intimidate. She even continued after being shot, as if calling the guy who just shot you a "motherf*cker you" was somehow still going to make her the top-guy. That, alone, tells you how impossible it would be to deal with them on a daily basis.

Right. I know that and you know that and that’s why I also said that I wouldn’t expect regular citizens to have the presence of mind to react. I’m a retired cop so I never leave the house unarmed.

You expected 2 young slim guys to drag the obese dead weight man inside? They would only have seconds to do so, and they had to save their own lives once the neighbor came back out with the other gun to finish them off.

About 14 seconds. From the moment the kid in the dark sweats slides into view and the moment the killer comes out with the other gun.

Have you seen those videos of people carrying someone horrifically injured or dead? And even though there are like 4 people carrying the injured/dead person, their body is completely slack (dead weight) and the people have a difficult time carrying the person. And those victims are usually not morbidly obese like this guy was.

Apparently, you’ve never experienced an adrenaline dump. When you’re in the moment, you can do things you normally wouldn’t be able to do.
I’m not blaming or accusing anyone of anything. In a retired cop so I see things from a different perspective. That couple was associated with the Outlaws MC by the way...

Yeah, I get that. I’m not insinuating anything. I’m sure the whole street will be traumatized for life. They were in with the Outlaws MC so there’s your answer on why they thought they were bulletproof and why the neighbor thought they were scum.
