Re: Pennsylvania Man James Spaide, Shoots Neighbors Over Snow Removal
It's true. Most home cameras are so fuzzy, but this one had decent images and excellent sound. I wonder what brand it is.

That was two hours away from my house. It's a beautiful area. The guy couldn't aim for shit though. I think he had a lot going on. |

Re: Pennsylvania Man James Spaide, Shoots Neighbors Over Snow Removal
its going to take a generation or two (or three or four) of children growing up learning that they can't act out their anger in ways such as what happens in this video. they need to be taught that it is normal to feel angry but lashing out in violence is NEVER a normal response to being angry. they also need to be taught that normal conversation of disagreement dont go along the lines of "you pussy, pussy, pussy, pussy!! you fucking scum!! i will make your life a living hell!! i will fuck you up!! fuck you!" this doesn't mean that life is all puppies and rainbows and thats not what i'm saying it should be. we can definitely disagree, we can definitely have arguments.....but personal attacks raised to threats of violence are NEVER normal. period. when is telling your neighbor hes a pussy and that you're gonna fuck him up ever normal? neighbor pushes his snow on to your property and won't stop after you kindly ask him to stop? if your first impulse is to call him fucking scum and tell him you'll fuck him up that right there is the problem (in addition to a neighbor who thinks its ok to push his snow on to your property when you've asked him to stop). its as though we have forgotten (or never really learned) how arguments, discussions, or just basic human interactions are supposed to work. it doesn't even have to be taken into religious contexts to be good advice: love your neighbor as thy self. if we all learned to do that there would be a lot fewer problems in this world. of course there are going to be angry people who can't fathom that idea but the sooner we raise a couple of generations with that mindset the better off we'll be. whats that going to take? parents/adults in the home that actually care for their kids. parents/adults in the home that set a good example of what normal human interactions consist of. kids that dont grow up in fucked up situations where mommy and/or daddy are high on drugs and beat the shit out of each other and their offspring on a regular basis. we keep trying to blame tools of violence rather than where the violence stems from and thats why this is way beyond a discussion of guns, or bombs, or knives, or pick axes, or clubs, or cars driven into crowds, or political parties. violence as a form of emotional expression has been around since the dawn of mankind, well before modern, or even medieval, weapons were around so maybe we should look elsewhere for a solution to this problem. look at many interactions on this forum for prime examples of unhealthy reactions to disagreements: "why cant you understand this you fucking cunt of a moron?!?! you are a fucking idiot and need to fucking fuck off you ignorant piece of fucking shit!" this thread alone is full of that. yeah....good luck convincing anyone that is a normal way to discuss things. tl;dr version: its starts with how we're raised and how we learn to cope with anger. everything that follows is a product of that |

Actually, the frame rate was choppy, audio didn't sync. Sure the quality was better than a lot of the shit quality from other countries, but that's not a very high bar.

Re: Pennsylvania Man James Spaide, Shoots Neighbors Over Snow Removal
The people saying the couple deserved it are fucking retarded. In what world does verbal harassment justify murder? These neighbors could be berating him for the next 100 years and it still wouldn't justify what he did. His response was so hilariously over the top and completely unnecessary that this dude had to be mentally unhinged. Who cares about some random abuse from a neighbor? Brush it aside and ignore it. Avoid confrontations. He had options. As another poster said, why not just move? To think murder is a viable solution is actually laughable. He destroyed 2 lives including his own, and for what? |

Re: Pennsylvania Man James Spaide, Shoots Neighbors Over Snow Removal
It's still very clear these two people were the aggressors. Trust me, this guy had every reason to believe they would make his life hell. Why? Well, it's because they were raised to believe they were the top-of-the-walk and, so, they could bully anyone they wanted to. Jesus, one of their family members posted on FB after this that people who were sharing the video should "rot in hell." This tells me these weren't the innocent, nice people the media wants to portray them as. They were absolutely a danger to the shooter. He knew it. He did something about it.
