Peeking Inside a Kiosk Where a Man Strangled His Wife Before He Hanged Himself
A married couple was found lifeless inside a kiosk at a market in Indonesia on 1/1/2019. The two victims were R. alias A.M., 65, and I., 58. The victim was a trader of coconuts at the food market. Both also owned kiosks located in a different part of the market. Police told that the dead were suspected of suicide based on an eyewitness testimonies. Last night, around 00.30 witnesses heard a woman scream from inside the kiosk. One witness saw the husband next to his wife's body and was strangling his wife's neck. Another witness then saw later on the male hanging by a piece of clothing, while his wife was laying lifeless on the bed. Both were not breathing and the door was locked from the inside, he explained. The police then went to the crime scene. From the results of the crime scene and the testimonies of the witnesses it was alleged that the husband killed his wife first by strangling his wife's neck and after killing his wife the husband committed suicide by hanging himself. The officer is still investigating the motives of the suicide. |

Re: Peeking Inside a Kiosk Where a Man Strangled His Wife Before He Hanged Himself
I always marvel at the discipline it would take to kneel down to hang oneself but I guess that if you get the rope or scarf in the right spot, the blood flow constriction would have you unconscious in a few moments and then gravity would do the rest to kill you. Still, I'd probably be tempted to stand up and not hang myself.

Re: Peeking Inside a Kiosk Where a Man Strangled His Wife Before He Hanged Himself
If the thickness of the material used to asphyxiate is fairly wide, it would be like putting someone in a sleeper. They wouldn't know they passed out.. Used to play a choking game when we were kids using a towel and pressing on the chest up against the wall.. Typically resulting in immediately passing out and back to conscious state in about 5-10 seconds... Sometimes mild seizure like activity would occur if someone was to stay unconscious for like 20 seconds or greater |
