A man, identified as Raunei J.B.V., 25, was shot dead in the early hours of Tuesday (2) in a Subway fast food restaurant in Porto Velho, Rondônia state, Brazil.

Raunei was having a snack with his girlfriend when a man with a pistol arrived on a bicycle, entered the place and shot the victim five times at point-blank range in the back of the head. In the process, Raunei was hit four times in the head and one of the shots hit his girlfriend's leg.

Forensics found a .45 calibre pistol with two magazines, all loaded with ammunition.

Raunei had several stints in the prison system and was identified as one of the leaders of the PCC in the state capital.
