Investigators in Saint-Petersburg, Russia trying to find out further circumstances which led to the murder of a disabled man, who was involved in powerlifting.

According to preliminary data, the crime was organized by an ex-girlfriend of the victim and her lover of Azerbaijani origin. They have not forgiven the athlete for humiliation one year ago.

The murder of 24-year-old athlete Seeds Filatov was committed on the night of 17th July 2016 in the Krasnoselsky district of St. Petersburg.

The man died from multiple gunshot wounds, according to police.

The victim Semyon Filatov had no left leg. He was engaged in weightlifting, has been training in the athletic school of Olympic reserve of a name of Krajewski, and in 2016 became the silver prize-winner of St. Petersburg in powerlifting.

The footage shows how Semyon Filatov slowly went down the stairs and out of the corner jumped at him a man with a gun in his hand. After the first shot fired at close range, Filatov collapsed on the pavement. The killer fired several shots at the victim, then fled the scene.

Six bullets hit the athlete in the heart and one in the head. In the footage also appears another person, a girl. She hides her face under a hood and probably lured the victim into the street under some pretext.

The next day, July 18, the police detained the alleged organizers of the murder, a 21-year-old native of Azerbaijan, Israil Aliyev and his 25-year-old sweetheart Anastasia Minyaylova.

The couple, in particular, communicate with eachother on the social network “Vkontakte”. There, on the page of Anastasia, she posted photos of them together.

According to the police, a year ago, Semyon Filatov met Anastasia, and once he looked her and found her in a rented apartment in the seaside district and found Anastasia in the company of another man, who was Israil Aliyev.

In a fit of jealousy, the athlete twisted Anastasia by the hair and gave her a slap in the face.

It is established that before the killing, Anastasia called Semyon Filatov, which she hadn't seen for about a year, and then went to visit him. After talking to Filatov he volunteered to accompany the girl to get her in a cab.

However, at the exit of the building entrance, Israil Aliyev, waited there holding a gun.
Immediately after committing the crime, the lovers fled in a car.

The suspects were detained early morning in the suburbs. Aliev on the questioning did not deny his involvement in the murder. In the end they decided that Filatov needed to avenge the humiliation.

And they even admit it, making sure they'll get a nice life-long vacation in a friendly family gulag in Siberia.

I wonder about these people and people who do "honor" killings...wouldn't it be more shameful and dishonorable to you/your family to be sent to jail for life or given the death sentence for MURDER? "Gee there is that slutty girl" sounds a lot better than "Gee there is that murderer"
