looks like a line over; one of about 9 potential malfunctions that can be dealt with emergency procedures if you know what youre doing and stay focussed. He should have cut way his main doesnt, and nearer the end it looks like he depolys his reserve without cutting away (pilot chute comes out but does not have the velocity to deply his reserve)...that could also be his main pilot chute in tow, but either way we are trained to cutaway and get onto the reserve straight away. Basic pilot error that cost him his life

I’ve been in much the same situation, rolled through the risers on deployment, slider stuck up, still flying but going hellish fast..... fly it in, or cut away..... ...I cut away and took the reserve ride, luckily. My own fault, jumping with a stinking bad hangover.  |

Jesus that fucking woman was loud. Probably his wife and he crashed on purpose to get away from that.

Looks like he died on the old drop zone. Hopefully someone boxed him up, shipped him home, buried him in the leaning rest, and told his mom he did his best.
