In Pedregal, a district of Panama City, two men, identified as A.H.B., 36, and O.V.H., 60, were murdered in the vicinity of a barbershop by subjects who got out of a pick-up truck and shot at them.

A third person was injured in the attack, but is out of danger. Police recovered the vehicle used by the hitmen, but they themselves have so far eluded capture.

A. was apprehended in 2013 for robbery and was released from prison in 2021. He had been witnessed getting into an argument shortly before he was murdered. O., on the other hand, had no criminal record, and police believe the hitmen were targeting A., with O. being a collateral victim of the attack.
