Panama - Retired FSU Professor Guns Down 2 Protesters
The scene was chaotic, a foreigner, supposedly American, kept his firearm in his hand, while a protester lay in a pool of blood.

Near Quesos Mili, in Chame, a group of people maintained a road closure in protest of the mining contract, when a gringo with a firearm got out of a car, demanding to be allowed to pass, while with one hand He moved the stones and with the other he held his gun.

In the middle of a struggle, the gringo fired bullets, fatally wounding two people, as confirmed by the National Police through their X account.

One of the fatal victims is a teacher, as confirmed by the Association of Veraguense Educators, on their social networks, where they blamed all this chaos on the President of the Republic, Laurentino Cortizo and the Vice President, José Gabriel Carrizo.

The unidentified attacker, who got out of one of the cars that was held up by the blockade, was immediately captured by police officers.

For its part, the Public Ministry revealed that Chame's office in Panama Oeste began investigations for a crime against the life and personal integrity to the detriment of two people who were at a road closure.
