26-year-old Pakistani student at Nanjing Normal University, identified as Moiz-ud-Din, was stabbed to death after a roadside dispute on Monday, July 11, according to Nanjing police.

Surveillance camera footage shows the victim standing curbside near a cigarette factory, reportedly with his girlfriend, when he is confronted by a scooterist, reportedly a 28-year-old Chinese man from Heilongjiang Province.

The two men are seen quarreling — the exact cause is unknown — before the Chinese man crosses the street. After about two minutes, he returns with a knife and attacks Moiz. The two men skirmish — a third man is seen trying to interject, apparently as peacemaker — before Moiz receives several violent blows and collapses on the sidewalk.

The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he died of his injuries.

So the other day I walked past 3 black men. One of them was talking about immigrants and he stopped me and asked me if my grandparents were born here. I told him they were from Bohemia. He then started talking to his friends again, how "we" were called ******, then Blacks, then Coloreds ... how nobody has a "right" to be an American...

I just continued walking - not wanting to start something, I didn't know what I was getting into.

But as I walked, I thought back, and my grandpa told me stories about how the Czechs, Germans, and Bohemians didn't get along in the neighborhood. Slang terms such as bohunk were used.

So how/when did this just become a "black only" thing. I mean by that, it seems that is all anyone talks about these days, how hard and how much the blacks had to struggle here in the US.

I think I remember in grade school the teachers telling us they should not be called "black" but use "colored" is a nicer term. Political correctness gone a muck I think.

I imagine in that (back to topic) part of the world, it's kind of the same, Chinese, Pakistani, Indian - all rivals and all contemptible.

Being American I had to dislike your comment... Though it may just be the wording. It's just not sounding accurate. To me anyway. I will admit that in the media there's an awful lot of attention paid on the subject!
I do have a question then. You needn't answer if you don't like, but I am curious what you mean by "uniquely racist" toward blacks?

Americans are not "uniquely racist." In fact if you took a look at other places like the middle east, Africa, even Brazil (where they feel they are at the top of the food chain in the Hispanic hierarchy) America is actually on the lower end and improving every day.
