Re: Painter Resting on a Bucket Suffers Fatal Heart Attack
The cold causes blood vessels to contract. This can raise your blood pressure and increase your risk of heart attack and stroke. Angina, or chest pain due to coronary heart disease, can also worsen in winter when coronary arteries constrict in the cold.

I always cringe at people who forcefully swing someone up like that. Youre not helping anything and if someone has brain or spinal injuries you could possibly kill them or paraylze them. If you dont have medical training then just call an ambulance and keep your hands off.

I'm glad SOME people keep a positive outlook on things. Like my Mom used to say:"If you can't find something NICE to say, then keep your voice down!" If |

Yup, you see lots of that on here. Victims of serious crashes being dragged out of vehicles by ignorant mobs, no thought of spinal protection, compound fractures or internal injuries. My view is that unless the vehicle is on fire or there is some other immediate life risk then do first aid (airway, breathing, circulation) but leave them where they are and call for professionals. |
