Just watch a few interviews. He had no idea, the attack started after he went down the zipline.

He couldn't see what he was recording behind him and noticed nothing at the time. That ride probably saved his life.

Agreed on all points. He was enjoying the ride without any idea of the happenings below him. Shitty way to end the ride finding dead friends and others after a good time gliding at a public gathering.
