Re: Out of Control Driver Flattens Woman
The Postal Bank kept the money she was due because they are Chinese/Asian. The bullet proof teller counter held up really well. Good reaction time on that security guard, he saved himself. Much faster than that Brazillian health clinic guard during the lobby assassination. |

Re: Out of Control Driver Flattens Woman
Fuk me...that was horrific! Back in Christmas of 1984, my parents were packing up our car to visit relatives 600 miles away in a raging snowstorm. They started our car to defrost the windows and to warm up the interior before leaving. As I was getting in the car, my kid brother who was 4 at the time, managed to crawl over into the front seat and dropped the car in drive and punched the gas as I was halfway in the car with the door open as he sped off. He rammed our neighbor's car across the street and pinned me in the door jam between the two cars. Luckily, he hit the side of their car and ricocheted just enough to catch their front bumper and the front bumper of our car and locked them together. It took about an hour for the fire department to bring out their new tool called the Jaws of Life to free me from between the two cars. After the dust settled, we were told if he had not glanced the neighbor's car, I would have certainly been killed. Bruised ribs and loss of circulation in my left leg (which returned afterwards) where the door slammed shut on my calf is all the damage that was done to me. No broken bones. These vids of people get wasted by uncontrolled car drivers hits a little close to home and makes me wince still to this day. Lucky SOB, I am... |

Re: Out of Control Driver Flattens Woman
You are very lucky U B Hotch - that could have (and statistically speaking should have) gone a lot worse. That being said, I find the most interesting part of your story is about how Jaws cut you free and saved you ....... I've always felt he got a bad rap in those hollywood films - and we never hear enough about his good deeds like this. Well done Jaws, say hello to the Forum ! |
