Maybe Europe is having many Moslem immigrants, and its demographic reality. Europe birth rate is falling because women can hold careers and have education, and this promotes sex with contraception and holding of marriage until later age. In Moslem countries they still dont have that kind of feminism :) That and many of them have poor birth health like the North African countries, so mothers have ten children in hope that three can survive. And Europe has lax immigration policies, so it takes only a few decade for a generation to establish itself there and call their families back home and tell them to come :)

But you are really under-stimating the power of the host country culture. Even though many of these immigrants remain in their strong traditional groups while in Europe, by the time they have kids their kids would be mostly European :) Literally there should be nothing to worry about unless these immigrants came in waves greater than the size of the host country's population, like if all of a sudden the entire Pakistan immigrates to France wihch is simply not reality :)

Yes Islam is a violent religion and yes it had violent beginning, but a normal person can read the Koran and say "this is all from 1,400 years ago, it's not applicable to today" and find some sort of symbolic meaning if they like it. The ones who read the book word for word and accept it and believe in its holiness without questioning it they have mental problems and there is your fanatical Islam problem, its starts with what's inside the head of thes fanatics. Most moderate Moslem I know don't really follow their religion word for word or know their religion in its entirety, they were grand-fathered into their belief system by their family and culture and I see a trend in ANY religion of cultures and families picking the beliefs they like and throwing away the other ones they don't like lol. For a moderate it boils down to wanting to belief in afterlife and higher purpose. For extremists it boils down to someone who has no other sense of self so tries to validate his own existence and power by making others believe his beliefs or destroying them.
