Damn, that had to hurt like a bitch. Looks like his head cleared the wheels but his chest was crushed. Its kind of amazing he appeared to survive that briefly. The nonchalance from the old dude with the bag was kind of funny. He takes a peak, decides hes not gunna let this ruin his day, and hobbles away. |

They're cheap and have a low barrier to entry. Whilst motorbikes are just as dangerous in situations like this, usually the rider is more invested in owning and operating a bike, is more aware of the dangers and can take quicker and more appropriate action when shit goes wrong. In a lot of countries the test to ride a scooter is far easier than a bike >125cc. This means you get people buying a scooter as a first vehicle rather than a car, so they aren't experienced on the road. A biker usually has more experience being on the road and usually a motorbike isn't just a way to get from A to B for them, it's a hobby or passion, so for low speed situations like this they can usually identify the dangers a lot sooner, a biker is always looking for and expecting shit like someone throwing their door open without looking. Of course a scooter can't go very fast, so at higher speeds the motorbike becomes more dangerous, far less time to react, much harder when you fall. |

There were three bikers coming down the street, if the retard had opened the door to catch biker 1 or 2 the truck driver could have stopped in time so, Murphy made sure he opened it when the third one was passing by, so there was no possibility for the truck driver to stop! Thanks Murphy, you always get your man! |
