I'm not sure that's a man. From what I've read Hindus cremate men facing up, and women facing down. This one is facing down.

The legs don't have much hair, and the legs and feet look too slender to belong to a man.

Traditionally the liquid fuel used is ghee (clarified butter), not petrol, though I have never seen black ghee.
