One Woman Dead, One Injured After a KIA Hit Their Tuko Motorcycle
Ecuador. Around midnight in the coastal province of Santa Elena a white KIA hit two women travelling on a Tuko motorcycle. As a result 31 year old Denisse L.B.J died on the spot and when the driver of the car tried to escape he partially run over the injured woman. Bystanders and witnesses immediately intervened to block the vehicle, preventing the driver from successfully escaping until authorities arrived. The driver was apprehended by the police and is currently held in custody. |

Realizing what he had done, the driver probably went into panic mode, overriding any common sense and/or logical thinking.  |
