A violent robbery of a truck in Ecuador resulted in the death of a security guard and the theft of the transported merchandise.

The incident occurred Wednesday morning near a Highway interchange, when 4 vehicles intercepted a truck transporting a 20-foot container of white goods.

The deceased guard was K.E.C.U, 24, who worked as a security guard for a security company. The victim was in the security vehicle as co-pilot when he was shot multiple times in different parts of his body.

According to the driver's testimony, the attackers fired at the security van and stole both the deceased guard's pistol and the truck's cargo. The truck driver has been missing since the attack.

Police found 16 nine mm caliber shell casings and clothing, in addition to the affected security vehicle.

The truck owner told police that the platform had armed guards due to the increase in violence and robbery on transport routes and that up to the time of the incident, no incidents had been reported during the journey.

Investigations remain open, with the aim of identifying those responsible.

It's weird, no bullets hit him, he is knocked silly or playing possum, then wakes up and appears to call for a ride, "hey baby, gonna need a ride, can you pick me up? Yeah, look for the emergency vehicles..." If he was directly in on it I would think he might flee with the truck hijackers. Driver might have gone into hiding because he is a living witness, in Latino Land, wouldn't you?

I try to be color blind with my choice for a long time relationship with an appliance. But I have to admit almost all of my appliances are appliances of color

Definitely in on it. He never even looked over at the other guy, or check him to see if he was alive. He didn't give a shit.
