Re: One Killed when Biker Rear-ends Passenger Car Trying to Overtake Another Car
~ The car that hit the speeding motorcycle was most likely distracted & thought nothing about passing the other car, at first, then, Oh-Oh ooOOPS! ~ Obviously the first motorcycle & motorcycle driver, struck the back of the vehicle overtaking, then what looks like the back half of that same motorcycle got stuck into the back of the vehicle that collided with them, as the motorcycle got split in two. ~ Then the vehicle that collided with the first motorcycle crashed sideways into the back of the parked truck, & contents of the back half of the first motorcycle that got stuck in the back of the overtaking vehicle, fell out onto the road. ~ Soon after, another second motorcycle driver lost control trying to avoid hitting the motorcycle that got struck in the first place, as the front half of the motorcycle started tumbling into the fast lane. |

Re: One Killed when Biker Rear-ends Passenger Car Trying to Overtake Another Car
It's weird how there was open highway before and after where the truck was parked on the side of the highway. But all the stupidity happens right where the truck is parked. It wasn't the trucks fault but I think the truck was a factor. But, that's just my opinion. I could be wrong. |

Re: One Killed when Biker Rear-ends Passenger Car Trying to Overtake Another Car
The car hit the back of the parked truck HARD and caved in the entire side/top of the car. This seems like the direct reason for any injuries/deaths in the car. The second bike to fall was probably on the brakes to "help" and hit the oil spot or other debris from the bike in the median. Biker in the median, IMO, was at fault for overtaking to fast and too close to other vehicles. Too bad it wasn't just the biker that paid for the poor decision by the biker... |

Re: One Killed when Biker Rear-ends Passenger Car Trying to Overtake Another Car
100% the bike's fault. They were going exceedingly fast on a public highway, well beyond what all the other traffic was going. It is next to impossible for the driver of the car to have known the rate of closure of those motorcycles. Even if he had turned on his turn signal to indicate his intent to change lanes, those bikes still wouldn't have known it or have hit the brakes to let him get over. They were hauling ass and turning the highway into their own little race track. Hoping they get a manslaughter charge or whatever the hell they have down there for laws in that shithole country called Brazil.
