Re: Oldschool Electric Chair
I know it's fiction, but this is how they dealt with escapees in "Welcome to Eden" (Netflix). Looked like it'd be pretty cool if real.

Re: Oldschool Electric Chair
This is a dramatization. If this was real life he would have his head and both calves shaved to connect to the electrodes, and he'd be wearing this season's must have, a metal cap from Balenciaga. The condemned usually have a mask over the prisoners face for fear that the sight of such a graphic death would traumatise the senses of the poor witnesses. Ironic really. Criminal kills, then state kills but they have to serve it up to make the scene as pretty because they don't want to see the ugliness of such a terrible death and brutal murder. |

Re: Oldschool Electric Chair
I hate the death penalty however in rare cases the crimes are so heinous that there's no other way. Like the man who masterminded the Frans Market murders in Sanger, CA in the 1970s, or Manson and his fucking misfits. But, I met a man at a convention who was the main speaker. He was on death row. He was innocent and they were going to kill him. Thankfully DNA and the real killers identity got him out. There are innocent people on death row. Not many, but even one innocent person murdered by the State is one too many. This is my problem with it, and some say do it as soon as the person is sentenced to death. I disagree. My friend who I met at the convention is innocent. If he would've been killed by the State, I would've never met him, and he wouldn't be here today. The death penalty is flawed. We can't let people get away with murder, but we can't kill innocent people either
